On Feburary 10-11, 2012 the 5th Annual Cincy Winter Beerfest will be held at the Duke Energy Convention Center and is expected to be one the Top Ten largest beer festivals in the entire United States! The 2012 Cincy Winter Beerfest will be at the conclusion of the Inaugural Cincinnati Beer Week and attendance is expected to be at an all-time high at around 10,000 attendees. The 5th Annual Cincy Winter Beerfest benefits the Big Joe Duskin Music Foundation. About Big Joe Duskin Music Foundation: The Big Joe Duskin Foundation was created to honor thelegacy of legendary boogie woogie piano player Big Joe Duskin who passed away in 2007. Big Joe loved performing in Cincinnati schools. The soul mission of the BJDMF is to get schoolchildren excited about playing musical instruments by paying professional musicians and bands to perform and lead presentations inside schools. The BJDMF has reached over 14,000 school kids in 34 schools. About Cincy Beerfest: The Cincy Winter Beerfest is a large craft beer sampling festival. There will be over 300 different craft beers to try from more than 60 breweries, along with food pairings from local restaurants, and educational sessions led by experts in their fields.. In all, over 1,000,000 ounces of American craft beer will be sampled at this festival by the 10,000 attendees who put the event in the Top Ten in the nation in terms of size.
